Sheena is a punk rocker!

  Studs, leather, safety pins, combat boots, ripped jeans and leggings, ripped T-shirts are all details of punk fashion. More than a fashion trend, the punk style was a rebellious statement that started in Britain years ago. Today, designers are looking to punk inspiration for Spring 2011 and applying certain elements into their collections. The whole idea is to mix and match punk elements with other popular trends of the season. For example, something ultra-feminine with a punk-rock edge. 

   I like this trend a lot 'cause I was a punk rocker myself couple of years ago. But I was more into punk music than into punk fashion. Of course I wore some punk fashion elements like studs, ripped jeans etc. but never went to punk fashion to the fullest. I usually combined it with other trends I was into. I'm doing the same thing today, mixing and matching elements from different trends and fashions that follow different subcultures. So, my closet is full of different clothes, from feminine dresses to boyish pants, from punk to trance fashion elements, from darkest to brightest colors and hues etc.
