Planning your wedding is exciting but also requires a great deal of planning and work to ensure that you have everything organized and set up just how you want it. One of the important tasks to remember to complete is to register for wedding gifts. Many couples choose to register for a variety of gifts that they want to have so that their guests can purchase something that the couple needs or wants. This article will help future newlyweds figure out what to add to their wedding registry as it can be a challenge to get started, especially if you have already been living on your own for a period of time. Try to register for items that you need and would like to have but you may not necessarily want to purchase them yourself.
Here are some ideas:
1. Household items. Often times registries consist of items that are needed to create a home together. Necessities such as pots, pans, plates, silverware, towels, and bedding are all typical items that couples add to their wedding registry. It is smart to add items for your home to your wedding registry. Having new sheets, towels, and other items that correspond with one another will make for a well coordinated and styled home.
2. Luggage. Many couples who marry later on in life may already have household items and do not need to register for them. There are many other things that a couple may need over time and it is important to think about things that you will need in the future as well as now. If you are planning to go on a honeymoon, will you have proper luggage to pack your belongings for your vacation? If not, consider registering for a nice set of luggage that you will have for a long period of time.

3. Roof rack storage.
If you and your soon-to-be spouse enjoy taking road trips or you plan
to do so in the future, consider the amount of storage you have in your
current vehicle. If you are in need of additional space, store your cargo in one of these roof racks .
These can be great items to add to a wedding registry as you will be
thankful you did. As your family grows over the years, you will need
additional storage to transport belongings and having a roof rack will
be a relief.
4. Honeymoon excursions. If you do not need to register for household items, some couples are choosing to register for activities, meals, or aspects of their honeymoon. Many couples feel that it is appropriate to ask guests to assist in helping them pay for their honeymoon. This type of registry will list activities, meals, and potential excursions that the couple can go on. If you choose to, you can purchase one of these and that aspect of their honeymoon will be sponsored by you. While this is somewhat of a controversial type of registry because it is not traditional, it is a unique way for couples to save money and have a great honeymoon.
Great ideas dear!
